🧮 Methodology — Legend Score vs. the Tier List
The tier list and full tier breakdown both answer "what should I farm right now" — cash/min is the dominant factor. This board answers a different question: "which brainrot would impress someone if they saw it in your base." Rarity and capture difficulty carry more weight than raw income, because a hard-to-catch Rare brainrot is a better flex than a common one that happens to generate slightly more cash.

Because a chunk of the C-tier and D-tier roster share identical rarity and difficulty labels, several brainrots land on the same Legend Score — ties are broken by cash/min, same as the source data. That clustering is real, not a rounding bug; the detailed tier breakdown says the same thing about that bracket: "income-wise they are interchangeable at this level."

This board pulls from the same tracked dataset as the complete brainrot list (40+ sessions, Discord community logs, verified footage). When Future Trash 2 ships a balance patch, that source page updates within 24 hours and this board's rankings recalculate from it on the next weekly pass — no separate data entry, so the two pages can't drift out of sync with each other. If a patch adds a 29th brainrot, it slots into the board automatically once it's added to the source list.

The best-brainrots tier list ranks for base-building efficiency (cash/min first). Legend Score ranks for bragging rights: rarity tier 45%, capture difficulty 35%, cash/min 20%. A brainrot can sit at A-tier for income but rank differently here because rarity and difficulty carry more weight.
Is this really a Top 50?
No — there are 28 confirmed brainrots as of July 2026, so this ranks all 28, #1 to #28, none skipped. We won't pad the list with invented characters to hit a round number.
How often does this page update?
